Don't eat dinner!? At first I thought this was some cruel fat joke haha so I drove home, with my stomach grumbling the entire way. Once home I questioned Christa about these odd orders I had received! And then... a pizza man showed up at our door!:) One pepperoni pizza from Pizza Ranch specially ordered for the 2 of us with a pepperoni message that read "I Love You" from Erika and Jenna. From one set of college roomies to the next. we loved it!!! It was the perfect surprise:) AND THEN to add to my surprises I had a box waiting for me on the table. I eagerly opened it to find a box full of valentines goodies from Teresa, including a Chocolate man:) hahaha greatest valentine I have ever received. You rock Teres!:)
Friday Feb 14th. I slept in. did 4 loads of laundry. cleaned and organized my room from top to bottom. packed my over night bags and headed to Lester for a home sing at the Assisted Living in Hills, Minnesota. And then.... after the singing, Nicky, Lanna, Lachelle, Kari, Lynelle and I headed to Hu Hot Mongolian Grill for a Valentines girls night out:) I had never been there so not only was I stoked to be with these lovely ladies but I was finally getting to try THE Hu hot that every one raves about:) Let me tell you... it exceeded my expectations! My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I walked out of there with the fullest belly Id ever had but it was completely worth it:)
Feb 15th dawned a snowy day. Anyone wanting to go to Tremont for the wknd was to meet at Sharis at 7. And you can best bet I was there!:) Taking my vehicle and the Meyers Suburban we set off caravan style and 8 hrs later we arrived in Tremont:) This was another first for me! ( so many firsts!) That evening was a supper and singing in the FH. After dessert was over I took off for Eureka for a surprise overnighter at Ev and Ems:) Not only was I stoked to see them, but my beautiful Brielle as well:) The little stinker is growing like a weed! 5 teeth total now and taking steps!?!? Where has time gone?? Needless to say Auntie Tress got a lot of loving time with Breezy:) Another thing to LOVE was the official announcement of baby #3 in the Mark Sinn Family! Lord willing I will be an auntie again in September thanks to Ev and Em!;)
Sunday I spent the morning in Eureka and then at noon I left for Tremont to spend the afternoon service there. Seriously..the most beautiful AC church ive ever been in! Its so homey, warm and welcoming I loved it! Silverton... I see redecorating in our future...
We spent no time lollygagging after church as we had 8 hrs ahead of us. Thankfully the snow had stopped and we had clear roads the entire way:) It was such a wonderful weekend and im so thankful for the opportunity to travel the miles to visit brethren of like mind and like faith. we are so blessed:)
This week has been a relatively relaxed one with only 1 test and 1 quiz down and 2 more to go. Clinicals today were slow and manageable( which I am thankful for :) ) I do enjoy the busy days don't get me wrong but theres something nice about being home by 2 and having the entire afternoon and evening for homework and procrastinating;)
* oh and another perk to my week was receiving another valentines day box, this time from my parents!:) The eagerness to move home and be back with my family is building by the minute! 24 days till spring break but whose counting...? :)
